Uncle Skam was created for AIGA's 2012 Go Vote campaign, a national initiative to get more people to vote on 11/6/12.
Note: The numbers 11-6-12 are used to make up the tongue and the teeth. There are also some other subliminal elements hidden amongst this illustration.
R&R Specialty Foods approached me to illustrate a friendly mascot to be the face of their company.
I was instructed to include a chef hat, glasses, bow tie and a conductor's baton. The client wanted to connect with their audience on the same level as the Geico Gecko.
